Ratchet Support

Ratchet: Practice Timer helps you make time for a practice, grow a target gently and keep track of your actual time. Core timing works offline.

Get help

Email support@deepbluedodo.com. Include the app version from Ratchet Settings, your iOS version and a short description of the problem. Avoid sending private notes, photos or a full library unless needed to explain the issue. Never send passwords or payment information.

Choose today's practice

Tap the practice count on Today to choose another scheduled practice. Choosing a practice does not start its timer. Use Your practice to create and edit practices.

Finish and correct a session

When the countdown reaches zero, a smaller counter shows extra time. Tap 0:00 to save the target immediately. Finish saves the target and opens your session review. Tap Original to include extra time, add an optional enjoyment rating or note, then tap Save at the bottom. An early stop keeps the time you practiced. You can adjust a duration later in history. The full measurement is retained and a practice advances at most once per practice day.

Completion sound

Open Completion sound from the timer or Ratchet Settings to preview the sound, request notification permission or open iPhone notification settings. Silent mode, Focus, headphones and volume can affect what you hear. Ratchet does not override these settings.

Your own photograph

Choose a personal or goal photo in a practice or Space editor. Replace or remove it there, or choose bundled artwork. Save keeps the change; Cancel keeps your previously saved image. Selected photos stay local and are included in exported library backups. Changing a Space photo does not restart its running interval.

Back up before changing devices

In Ratchet Settings, choose Export your library and save the file somewhere you can find again. Import a library validates the complete file before changing your library. Ratchet has no built-in cloud sync. Keep a backup before removing the app or changing devices. If the app cannot open your data, keep the installation and contact support; do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step.

Space

Space tracks time away using a countdown or an open-ended interval. It keeps completed runs and optional personal records. Recovery actions are optional, user-selected small activities; Ratchet does not provide diagnosis or treatment.
